Astilbe chocolate Shogun

Astilbe  Chocolate Shogun is a clump-forming perennial, reaching heights of 0.5-1 metre. It features divided, fern-like chocolate-bronze foliage and produces narrow plumes of pale pink flowers on dark red stems from mid to late summer. This plant thrives in moist, well-drained or boggy soil, preferably in dappled shade or indirect sunlight, as it is drought intolerant. Prune flowering stems post-bloom or leave for winter interest.
