Carex buchananii Red Rooster ™

Carex buchananii  Red Rooster , commonly known as leatherleaf sedge, is an evergreen perennial characterised by its mounds of upright, thin, flat leaves with twisted tips in orange to reddish-bronze hues. It grows to a height of 0.5-1 metre and spreads about the same distance. Easy to cultivate in well-drained, fertile soils, it requires moderate moisture and does not need pruning.
