Carex testacea Prairie Fire

Carex testacea  Prairie Fire is a dense, tufted, evergreen perennial grass distinguished by narrow bright green strap-like leaves with vibrant orange tips. The foliage darkens to orange in autumn, with brown flower spikes appearing in summer. It thrives in well-drained, fertile soils and is generally disease and pest-free. The plant grows to a height and spread of 0.1-0.5 metres, is low maintenance, and can be propagated by seed or division.
