Chamaedorea elegans² / P17

Chamaedorea elegans, commonly known as the parlour palm, is an evergreen palm reaching heights of 1.5 to 2.5 metres. It features slenderly stalked, pinnate leaves with up to 40 linear leaflets and produces tiny yellow flowers in terminal panicles. This plant requires full light, protected from strong sunlight, and should be watered freely during growing seasons while being more sparing in winter.
