Leucanthemum Banana Cream

Leucanthemum × superbum  Banana Cream is a robust herbaceous perennial, reaching heights of up to 50cm. It features coarsely toothed, narrow, elliptic green leaves and large semi-double flowers measuring 10-12cm across, initially lemon yellow and maturing to creamy tones with a yellow-orange centre. This plant prefers moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, and propagates well by division in early spring or late summer. It is generally disease-free but may be susceptible to aphids and leaf and bud eelworms.
