Oenothera Twilight ®

Oenothera speciosa Twilight is a vigorous perennial that reaches a height of 30 cm. It features purple-bronze and green variegated leaves with arching stems that produce large, saucer-shaped white flowers, which age to shell-pink, from early summer to autumn. This plant thrives in well-drained, even stony soil with full sun exposure and requires protection from excessive winter wet. It may be susceptible to leaf spot, powdery mildew, and root rot in wet conditions, and juvenile growth can attract slugs. Propagation is achievable by division in early spring or softwood cuttings in late spring to midsummer.
