Achillea mill. Paprika

Achillea Paprika (Galaxy Series) is a mat-forming perennial that grows up to 70 cm tall. It features ferny, grey-green basal leaves and produces flat-topped flowerheads with ruby-red flowers in summer, which fade to pale pink and mustard-yellow. It prefers an open sunny position in moist but well-drained soil, tolerating various conditions except heavy, wet clay in winter. While drought-resistant, it may be susceptible to powdery mildews and aphids. Propagation is by division in spring, and it requires cutting back in spring for maintenance.
